RPG Developer 

(full remote within Hungary as contractor)

About the role

As an RPG Developer, you will join a long-term fintech project focusing on the development and maintenance of a core banking system used across Northern Europe (primarily in Finland and Sweden).

The end client is a well-established, mid-sized fintech company (150-200 employees) specializing in financial software solutions for banks and insurance companies, including large international institutions.

Onboarding includes a one-week onsite visit in the Åland Islands (Finland/Sweden region), where you will receive the necessary equipment and get familiar with the systems and processes. After onboarding, all work can be performed remotely.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in RPGLE programming language
• Proficiency with RPG, SQL, Encryption, TLS / SSL certificate, SSH and IBMi MQ
• Preferably knowledge of IBMi architecture, Jira and Scrum/Agile working methods
• It is desirable with experience in programming languages other than RPG and knowledge of REST API’s.
• Excellent English skills, oral and written
