Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer motivated by working on complex spatial and GIS datasets. You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that collect, process and deliver 2D/3D urban and LiDAR data for internal products and analytical platforms. 

You’ll play a key role in building the engine that powers their platform, developing systems that handle large, complex datasets and translate them into tangible real-world outcomes.

Responsibilities 

• Designing data pipelines for spatial datasets
• Creating and maintaining ETL/ELT processes
• Connecting and working with geospatial databases
• Maintaining high standards for data quality, performance and traceability

Requirements

• Solid Python expertise and hands-on experience with Airflow pipelines
• Experience with cloud-based data services like Blob Storage/ Key Vault

Huge plus

• Familiarity with geospatial tools such as PostGIS and QGIS
