Our partner, an international manufacturing company specializes in the design, development and production of electronic components and solutions. The company serves key markets including automotive, industrial and consumer sectors. They are looking for new colleagues to join their innovative IT support team in Hungary.

Operation Support Engineer 

About the role: 

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining smooth and secure operation of their IT systems, safeguarding the stability of mission-critical applications by fulfilling Service Level Agreements and streamlining problem investigation cycle times across their factories in multiple countries. You will work within a highly driven team that collaborates closely with global functional groups.

Tasks:

• Provide operational support, manage incidents and resolve problems
• Manage User Acceptance Tests
• Install and configure software settings across various company systems
• Resolve and troubleshoot technical issues within factory system integration
• Collaborate with stakeholders (business teams and equipment providers) 
• Lead initiatives for process improvements (automation, digitalization)
• Support system rollouts
• Maintain and update troubleshooting documentation and FAQs
• Monitor system performance using automated tools and respond to critical alerts or events
• Create simulations, implement containment measures
• Participate in on-call operational support 

Requirements:

• BSc. degree in IT, Electrical Engineering or equivalent field
• 1–2 years of relevant professional experience (recent graduates are also encouraged to apply)
• Experience with at least one programming language
• Fundamental knowledge of SQL queries
• Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Clear and confident communication with solid interpersonal skills
• Fluency in both English and Hungarian
