Production Area Leader

Southeast Pest County

We are looking for an experienced Production Area Leader for our stable, internationally owned electronics manufacturing partner located in Southeast Pest County. You will lead 50-80 operators through 8 shift leaders and reporting directly to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities 

• Ensure production targets at the chip implementation area are met in both quantity and quality
• Manage shift scheduling, employment status updates, and record employee departures
• Proactively identify and implement corrective actions for production issues
• Manage material resources and capacity planning across own and related areas
• Drive and take ownership of continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide detailed performance reports and contribute to key projects and reviews
• Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Process Engineering teams
• Evaluate the performance of shift leaders and lead technologists
• Oversee employee data and working time management using the time tracking system

Requirements

• Educational background in a technical or engineering field (BA/MA is a plus)
• Strong technical knowledge of mass manufacturing processes 
• Solid understanding of production methodologies such as capacity planning, Kanban, Lean manufacturing, and SPC
• Proficient in problem-solving tools like 8D and Six Sigma; able to resolve complex issues effectively
• Experienced in quality management techniques: Poka Yoke, FMEA, change management, supplier quality programs, and YIP
• Demonstrated leadership in managing blue collar workers; excellent organizational and communication  skills
• Fluency in Hungarian and mid-level English knowledge
